This 15-hour teacher training will take you through dynamic, creative, courageous and kindness-centered techniques and practical yoga, mindfulness and meditation practices that help children ages 5-11 practice yoga in a variety of settings. This training will be focused on the tremendous life-changing practices implemented at an early age, in age-appropriate ways, so children have a lifelong connection to mind body practices and tap into their heroic abilities within.
Elementary Yogis is for anyone with a yoga practice that is passionate, kind and willing to share the benefits of yoga, mindfulness and meditation with children 5-11.
In this course you will receive an overview and some in-depth instruction regarding:
Yoga Asana (Poses)
Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
Meditation Practices (Stillness scripts)
Restorative Yoga for Kids
Creative Yoga and Mindfulness Practices (Yoga Obstacle Courses, Mindful Crafting, Partner Poses, Yoga Games, Gratitude)
Mindfulness for Kids and Brain Science
Simple and Practical Anatomy/Physiology
Kids’ Yoga Philosophy
Healing-Centered/Trauma-Informed Teaching
Teaching Yoga in Schools
Lesson Planning
Kids’ Yoga Entrepreneurship: Setting Up for Success
When you finish our teacher training, you will have an expansive set of skills to share with the next generation of yogis! You will also have access to ongoing support in our Elementary Yogis Teacher Training Graduates Facebook Group.

To hold your space, a $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
Cancellations of fully paid Elementary Yogis Training registration will be given, less the $100 deposit, until April 8, 2020.
No refunds will be issued after April 8, 2020 .
$30 fee applies to any check returned due to non-sufficient funds.
Absolutely NO refunds or credits will be issued within one month of training.
Registration form is filled out on the google form, please complete before training when you submit your payment.
